About the Event
Undertake a comprehensive 2-day hands-on Introduction to Digital Prosthodontics.
While many of us now have had some form of exposure to CAD/CAM dentistry, the education about this field is varied, and hard to assess for those with little to no experience of this field. To leave the comfort of our analogue technique we were examined upon in dental school, can be an unfamiliar and nerve racking experience.
This course, is designed to take anyone from the complete newbie with no Digital experience in dentistry, to the proficient CAD/CAM dentist who has largely learnt through trial and error, by focusing on Hands-on Excercises and extensive teaching material.
Dr Craig Campbell, with his 18 years of CEREC experience has helped hundreds of dentists both embark on their digital journey, and expand their prosthodontic understanding. Bringing the Kiwi flavour to the CEREC-Files Modules taught in Australia, Craig has found participants gain the most skills with a split of lectures and well designed handson excercises.
Course materials will include Typodonts to prepare, demonstration models, and real-life digital cases, allowing the participant to understand from Prep to cementation, how to undertake Digital Dentistry. As a Module ONE level course, the focus is on complete understanding of Preparation & Impression technique, Design & Manufacturing and Delivery & Patient Management.
Using real life clinical case work to demonstrate the digitisation and design process, participants will be step by step, shown what they are trying to acheive. With set excercises to then undertake, participants will prep their own typodonts allowing the Speaker, with support for experienced Tutors, to nudge participants in a direction that will make Digital Care more predictable.
With our Inaugural June Course providing TWO CEREC Primescans and multiple Omnicams to work with, participants were spoilt for the complete imersive experience, as our goal it take home skills that will change your approach to everyday care, regardless of whether you own a CEREC or otheer CAD/CAM system or not.
To ensure Quality of Education, this course will maintain a 1 Teacher to 6 Student Ratio, to maintain the high standards we have set and kept in the CEREC-Files Modules for almost 5 Years and hundreds of dentists.
